Headteachers Update 
Welcome to the Astley Community High School Website We are a mixed 13-18 comprehensive school maintained by Northumberland Local Authority.
We are part of the Seaton Valley Federation of Schools, together with Whytrig and Seaton Sluice Middle Schools. We are proud of being a community school at the heart of the local community.
Whilst promoting a collective ethos of fulfilment, individual value and enjoyment, we acknowledge that our young people are individuals who possess differing strengths but who have a common entitlement.
Our purpose is to provide a learning environment in which we facilitate the best possible variety of opportunities and challenges to enable all to achieve their potential.
We are also committed to preparing our pupils as well-rounded young people for citizenship and for the world beyond school. At the time of writing this, we are celebrating our best ever set of examination results; our pupil monitoring and tracking system suggests that future performance will be even better.
