Seaton Valley Learning Partnership
Extended Services
The Seaton Valley Learning Partnership work together with local communities, parents, carers, voluntary groups other agencies and organisations along with Northumberland County Council & Blyth Valley Borough Council services on the agenda of Extended Services. Astley Community High School is the high school for the partnership along with the two middle schools, the five First Schools and together with Atkinson Special School form the geographical region. Our aim is to work more closely together to support and enhance the life chances for children and young people enabling them to reach their full potential. Together we can build on existing activities and develop new exciting opportunities and plans.
Many of the schools along with the community and voluntary groups in the villages of Seaton Valley are already providing many of the requirements for extended services. Government have set a target for all schools in Northumberland to provide the full core offer by 2008. We are pleased to announce that Seaton Valley Learning Partnership of schools have all successful gained ‘full core offer’ status from July 2008.
