Who we are and what we do
Connexions is a service for 13-19 year olds (and up to 25 years if you have special needs) in England and your local service is in Northumberland.
Connexions Northumberland is here to help you with a range of issues. If you would like some information, advice or guidance and someone to talk to about money, health, relationships, housing, careers and more then come and see us.
Your Personal Advisers (PA) are Lindsey Taggart and Alex Scott. Your PA’s will help you with your choices in Years 9, 10, 11 and beyond - just ask. They are based in the Connexions and Health HQ Room, next to A21 in A Block.
They offer an impartial, confidential service to all young people in school.
If you would like to speak to either Lindsey or Alex please call and see them during break or lunchtime.
Lindsey and Alex also work at the Connexions Centre in Blyth, working with young people who are not attending school and in the community including unemployed young people and teenage parents.

Connexions Resources Area
The Connexions Resources Area in your school has a selection of magazines, books, leaflets and videos/DVDs on careers, qualifications, HE, jobs and training as well as useful information on personal issues e.g. homelessness, bullying, health, money etc.
