1. Is there a special selection process for students wanting to join Years 9, 10 or 11?

2. Can my son or daughter apply even though they are currently not in the Seaton Valley Partnership?
   Yes. If we have space we will take any student. (For further information ring Astley on 0191 2371505).
3. Can my son or daughter transfer either mid year or mid course i.e. in Year 10 and Year 11?
   Yes. However, as with any other High School, it makes it more difficult to match up their specific subject choices or suitable ability sets as they join existing groups. As ever, we would do our best to personalise their timetable. (For further information ring Astley on 0191 2371505).
4. Can my son or daughter join the 6th form without having attended in Year 11?

5. Is it possible to visit the school to look round and meet staff?
   Yes. We encourage parents and students to make an appointment to come and see the school.
